2024 Adoption details, Pricing & Inclusions
For the remainder of 2024
We expect a litter from Millie & Billy (puppies due to go home on/around December 14th and Juni & Frito (puppies due to go home in January 2025). Currently, we have one male puppy spot open & one spot open who are open with either gender from Millie's litter. Below you can submit your request to be on the waiting list. The waiting list families are contacted only IF we have additional puppies after birth.
The investment and next steps
The total cost for a puppy in 2024 is $2500.
After we have determined that we are the right fit for you and we feel comfortable placing one of our puppies into your home, we will discuss the next steps on how to submit your non-refundable $500 deposit. Deposits can be transferrable one time, but non-refundable as we plan breeding’s based on committed families. The deposit secures your puppy for the expected litter, and it goes towards the total cost of the puppy. In addition, deposits are also not refundable if a sire change is made due to the breeder’s discretion regarding unforeseen health or genetic concerns, sire death, or failure to breed the female.
We will discuss the accepted payment methods & when to submit the remaining balance after the puppies are born.
If mother nature doesn’t cooperate, pregnancy isn’t successful, or your preferred gender isn’t available, families can choose to proceed as follows:
Select a different gender from the current litter if available
Transfer the deposit to the next future litter of choice with availability

Limited registration with the AKC
Official Litter Certificate/Pedigree
Genetic and OFA certifications of the Dam and Sire used for your puppy
Going home gift of Life’s Abundance Puppy Food, starter collar, and blanket with mother’s scent
Two vet checks, first vaccine(s), and three rounds of deworming
Veterinarian check verification and vaccination record
Health Guarantee
Phone support when needed after going home
Puppy Selection
Puppy selection will be scheduled on the day of going home. Each family will be scheduled in order of pick, based on when we received your deposit. If families cannot come during the selected day and time in order, they forfeit their pick in line and are moved to the bottom of the pick list. Families will be provided 45 minutes to select their puppy & 15 minutes to review the paperwork and answer any questions. We will offer one day (typically on a Saturday) which will be communicated after breeding and then confirmed shortly after the puppies arrive for planning.

The core of who we are at Golden Acres is centered around ministering to others where there is a need. The gift of raising puppies has blessed our family and we believe strongly in sharing this blessing. We are committed to sharing 10% of each puppy sale with the local church, families who are grieving, and children in need.
